As the Asian Tour leader, Muramatsu had traveled to the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar for the fourth tournament weekend of the Asian Tour. On Saturday, Muramatsu immediately made his move by winning Event 13.
In his opening two matches against Aris Quijano (4-3) and Shiitertseren Nyamsan (4-3), Muramatsu narrowly escaped. He then produced his best display of the tournament against TĂĽmen-Ă–lzii Amarbayasgalan, who was swept aside 4-0 thanks to a 109.31 average.
Satoshi Nakagawa (4-0), Yuya Fukuchi (4-2), and Mönkh-OrgilJargalsaikhan (5-0) were dispatched without fuss after that. The final brought a meeting with former Tour Card holder Christian Perez. The Filipino broke in the third leg but immediately handed it back. From there, all legs went with throw, and in the last-leg decider Muramatsu sealed it with a 22-darter.

Filipino success at Event 14

Event 14 followed later in the day, but this time Muramatsu went out in the last 16. He saw off Siik Hwang Wong (4-0), Byamba-Ochir Byambaa (4-0), and Altansükh Önörtsogt (4-2) before losing to Odkhüü Khundaganai (4-1).
It was Alain AbiAbi who capitalized on Muramatsu’s early exit. The Filipino defeated Gan-Erdene Sharavsambuu (4-3), Yuya Fukuchi (4-2), Mönkh-Orgil Jargalsaikhan (4-0), Satoshi Nakagawa (4-3), and Altantülkhüür Myagmarsüren (4-0) to reach the last four.
