Proceedings are at the halfway point as the final player set to be confirmed for the first PDC Home Tour semi-final shortly with Geert Nentjes putting himself in a good position so far.
Nentjes saw off
Darren Webster to start off proceedings with the latter not having the best time on the doubles hitting only 5/21 which allowed the Dutchman to edge through in a hard fought 6-5 victory.
He once again had to go through to a decider against
Damon Heta but after doing all the hard work. The Urk native was 4-1 and 5-2 up and the Brisbane Darts Master came back to force a decider only to miss three match darts.
This allowed Nentjes to take out 90 on the bull for a 6-5 victory; which allowed him to go closer to victory.
Dave Chisnall who began the night as favourite did not have the best start; as he lost to 'The Heat' after producing a comeback himself fighting back from 5-2 down to force a decider but missed a match dart and Heta hit 87 for an 11-darter to claim victory.
The players who win Groups One-Four will go onto Semi-Final One on Wednesday June 3 with the winners from Groups Five-Eight set to play on Thursday June 4 before that aforementioned Championship Group.
All games will be best of 11 legs and each night’s action will commence at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
All
PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live
on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
In addition all live-scores can be followed
