Dave Chisnall is the latest player through to the PDC Home Tour semi-finals after winning a straight shootout against Geert Nentjes in the final match of the night.
Chisnall began the night as the favourite but didn't get off to the best start losing to
Damon Heta despite producing a comeback coming from 5-2 down to force a decider but he missed a match dart and 'The Heat' hit an 87 checkout for an 11-darter to claim victory.
The St Helens ace gave himself a fighting chance with a 6-2 win and a 95 average with four 180's meaning that there was going to be a straight shootout between himself and
Geert Nentjes - who was the standout up to this point.
But it went the way of Chisnall 6-3 - who as a result ended up claiming it on leg difference to secure the final spot in
PDC Home Tour Semi-Final One.
The players who win Groups One-Four will go onto Semi-Final One on Wednesday June 3 with the winners from Groups Five-Eight set to play on Thursday June 4 before that aforementioned Championship Group.
All games will be best of 11 legs and each night’s action will commence at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live
on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
In addition all live-scores can be followed
on DartConnect; with match statistics being available after every match.
