Chisnall will of course as expected be favourite to claim the group but it is probably one of the toughest to call overall. As well as the St Helens ace, it also includes like alluded to Darren Webster who claimed his group in a deciding game against Andy Hamilton.
As well as the aforementioned duo, Damon Heta who is the current Brisbane Darts Master will be playing from Australia having won through in a group which included John Henderson and Krzysztof Kciuk and like last time, he will be playing in the early hours of the morning.
Finally the line-up is completed by Dutch youngster Geert Nentjes who will be potentially a pick for the outsider to get through the group. The Urk native impressed early on with a clean sweep in a group which featured Ross Smith and Lisa Ashton and could upset the script on Friday night to move through.
The players who win Groups One-Four will go onto Semi-Final One on Wednesday June 3 with the winners from Groups Five-Eight set to play on Thursday June 4 before that aforementioned Championship Group.
All games will be best of 11 legs and each night’s action will commence at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
