The action has began on the penultimate day of the latest week of the MODUS Icons of Darts League with Paul Nicholson leading the way so far after an unbeaten start to proceedings.

Nicholson has claimed three wins from three so far defeating James Hubbard (5-3), David Evans (5-1) and finally Martin Adams (5-1).

After the good start against Hubbard, he had a flawless display over Evans who won the first group in this pool of the week before then easing past a below par Adams.

James Hubbard has had a good start also winning two from four defeating David Evans (5-4) and Scott Marsh (5-4) - the former was a potential catalyst as he claimed his first win of the week at the eleventh attempt punishing four match darts against 'Stretch'.

Martin Adams despite that defeat to Paul Nicholson hit a 102 average and three 180's to ease past Hubbard to make it one win and one defeat from his two games so far.

There will be 15 games a day which will be best of 7 legs with two Pools set to be involved as usual. It begins everyday as a result at 10:30 am running till 5:00 pm and sees live action continue.

The scores are recorded during matches via a webcam with this then uploaded to various scoring services and bookmakers who are all showing the action. The livestream is provided by organiser MODUS .
