Nijman sees off Mitchell to claim top spot in A Night At The Darts Group Five with clean sweep

Nijman started the night chasing after Martin Adams and with 'Wolfie' not playing tomorrow due to it being his day off and not claiming a single win all night after multiple group wins this week, the young Dutchman took advantage perfectly to tee up a final day push.

He claimed victories over Jason Askew (5-2), David Evans (5-3), Martin Adams (5-4) and finally Scott Mitchell (5-2) to seal it.

Askew finished second tonight with three wins and one defeat to the eventual winner in an impressive series. Scott Mitchell who has not had the best time of it this week finished third with two wins and two defeats.

While David Evans finished fourth with one win and three defeats with Martin Adams finishing bottom.

A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.

Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.
