In a PDC Home Tour group headlined by Ian White and Danny Noppert, Jesus Noguera currently leads the way at the halfway point after claiming consecutive victories to begin the 22nd night.
Noguera though a former Challenge Tour standout who claimed two events last year which brought him his Tour Card has rode on some luck at times but in a lot of cases with the PDC Home Tour, it is what you need.
The Spaniard began his evening with a 5-3 victory over Ian White, the favourite who hit 3/17 on the doubles and it allowed Noguera to claim it despite only averaging 83.
He followed that up by taking advantage of more missed doubles this time from James Wilson who missed nine and averaged only 79 in losing out 5-2 and as a result Noguera has quickly doubled his tally and looks good to potentially qualify from the group.
A lot rides on the next two games with him facing Danny Noppert in his next tie, the only other player who has claimed a victory this evening so far.
Every evening, the four players will each face off; with each match being the best of nine legs. This group stage lasts 32 days with that amount of players set to reach the next round to play it out from there to crown a winner.
All players have webcams set up in their houses and say their scores out loud; to make sure that they can be inputted correctly without any cheating taking place.
With each night’s action commencing at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
