Jermaine Wattimena eased past Leonard Gates 5-1 and despite Damon Heta winning, Jonny Clayton got the leg he needed to ensure it would be 'Machine Gun' joining him in the Last 16 at the
Grand Slam of Darts.
"I'm feeling good, tough group as well. Damon is in form, Jonny is playing really well and to go through in this group means a lot.
"You hope always that they play earlier than you so you know what you have to do."
For Wattimena now, it is all about taking his floor form into the majors. "I start the year really bad, 2021 wasn't my year but I can see on the Players Championship, I am doing really well now. Last 16 at the Grand Slam, it's not that bad."
"Once I play like I do on the floor, I could win some majors."
