The PDC
Women's Series will continue to consist of a circuit of 24 tournaments in 2025. With a total of £10,000 per event, the series offers an attractive financial incentive for players and contributes to the growth of women's darts. Although it is still nowhere near the
prize money paid out at regular PDC tournaments, these are still nice sums that the ladies can win.
A top prize of £2000 is waiting for the winner of each tournament, giving the top ladies a great opportunity to earn a nice amount of money with multiple wins per season. The losing finalist receives £1000, while the semi-finalists pocket £500. A spot in the quarter-finals is good for £300.
Even players who do not make it to the latter rounds of the tournaments can take home a financial reward. Those who reach the last 16 earn £200, and a place in the last 32 earns £100. For players who reach the last 64, a reward of £50 awaits, although this payout only applies when at least 128 players enter the tournament.
So normally £10,000 is paid out per tournament, bringing the total amount for the circuit to £240,000. The prize money counts toward the Women's Series Order of Merit and through this ranking ladies can qualify for televised tournaments.
The top two players on the Women's Series Order of Merit qualify directly for the PDC World Darts Championship, where they will have the opportunity to compete against the best darts players in the world. In addition, the number one on the final ranking gets to compete at the Grand Slam of Darts. Eight ladies also earn entry to the Women's World Matchplay through the Women's Series Order of Merit.
In recent years, the Women's Series tournaments have been dominated by
Beau Greaves. She will once again face competition in 2025 from ladies such as
Fallon Sherrock, Lisa Ashton,
Noa-Lynn van Leuven, Mikuru Suzuki and Rhian O'Sullivan.
