The PDC Women's Series circuit returns in 2025 with a series of 24 tournaments spread over six weekends of play. This is the opportunity for the world's best female darters to compete at the top, earn prize money and qualify for prestigious PDC main tournaments such as the World Darts Championship and the Grand Slam of Darts.
The PDC Women's Series was introduced in 2020 as an official circuit for female darters. The tournaments are open to all female players worldwide and provide an important platform to develop and break into professional darts. The Women's Series has contributed to the rise of women's darts within the PDC and the development of the level among women in general.
In 2025, the Women's Series will consist of 24 tournaments spread over six weekends of play in Leicester, Rosmalen, Milton Keynes and Wigan. Four tournaments will be played on each weekend: two on Saturday and two on Sunday.
Who are the big names at the Women's Series?
The Women's Series has some solid faces that have dominated for years, with Beau Greaves in particular being the absolute number one in women's darts. Other familiar names active on the circuit include Fallon Sherrock, who made history in 2019 by becoming the first woman to win a match at the PDC World Championship, and Mikuru Suzuki, the two-time BDO world champion from Japan.
Lisa Ashton, the first woman to secure a Tour Card, is also playing a major role within the Women's Series. In addition, players such as Rhian O'Sullivan, Noa-Lynn van Leuven and Robyn Byrne are increasingly making a name for themselves within women's darts.
What's at stake?
In addition to the prize money, the Women's Series is also the main qualification route for ladies who want to compete in major PDC tournaments. The top two players on the Women's Series Order of Merit qualify directly for the PDC's World Darts Championship, where they will have the opportunity to compete against the best darters in the world.
In addition, the number one ranked player may compete in the Grand Slam of Darts. Through the Women's Series Order of Merit, eight ladies also earn entry into the Women's World Matchplay.
