PDC Women's Series 1 and 2 Round-Up | 100 and counting in clean sweep for Greaves

Beau Greaves
The PDC Women's Series begins on Saturday 7 February with two events with the first one having already kicked off at Halle 39 in Hildesheim which will also be home to the ProTour in the coming days.
Beau Greaves will play despite some doubts mainly due to the fact that the imperious queen of the Women's Series now plays full time on the PDC ProTour.
Albeit Lisa Ashton who is also involved when she played on the ProTour also did play a heavy part but Greaves will play at least five days in a row with ProTours as well as European Tour Qualifiers to come for 'Beau N Arrow'.
Joining her includes a pretty strong contingent, considering the Dutch Open is also taking place this weekend. Rhian O'Sullivan, Fallon Sherrock, and Noa-Lynn van Leuven, among others, have in fact decided to play the two tournaments instead of playing in the WDF tournament, which is well known for its large number of entries and being one of the most well-attended in the world.

100 in a row for Beau Greaves

Beau Greaves has won 100 straight matches on the PDC Women's Series.
The Doncaster thrower has ended the opening day of the new season by winning again. She saw off Lisa Ashton for a second time today winning 5-0 to take her tally to 100 consecutive match wins.
Greaves has been the queen on the PDC Women's Series for a long time and ended Day One in Hildesheim with another win against her main rival it seems so far in Ashton.
Greaves took down Gemma Hayter 5-2 in the semi-finals after seeing off Jade Gofford, Joanne Oldershaw, Milou Emriskdotter among others in the latter stages. There was also a welcome run for a certain Trina Gulliver to the Quarter-Finals. While Noa-Lynn van Leuven reached the top 16.
Two more events tomorrow, then Greaves will make her ProTour debut on Monday.

Beau Greaves wins Event One, continues incredible run

Beau Greaves was the winner in Event One with 'Beau n Arrow' taking down Lisa Ashton 5-2 to claim what is a 47th title on the PDC Women's Series and a 93rd consecutive match win.
Greaves hit a 98 average to win that tie having also seen off Robyn Byrne 5-0, Fallon Sherrock 5-2 as well as Kirsi Viinikainen 4-1 in the Last 16.
Greaves was a bit of a question mark going into this year for the sole reason that she has picked and choosed in the past and with the PDC Women's Series being on the same weekend going into her debut on the ProTour she potentially could've decided to skip these events.
But at the same time it could be construed as valuable match practice for her as she approaches her first full year as a pro.
Other top names involved included Deta Hedman perhaps surprisingly given she is a WDF board member and the Dutch Open takes place this weekend. But given she has already qualified twice for Lakeside, she has played Women's Series instead it seems. Gemma Hayter, Noa-Lynn van Leuven both lost in the Last 32.
While Byrne and Steph Clarke who have both impressed at times on the Women's Series lost to Greaves and Ashton in the semi-finals. Rhian O'Sullivan who perhaps is the big miss at the Dutch Open as defending champion lost in the Last 64 to Greaves.
