PDC Women's Series Round-Up | Draw for Event One as Greaves, Sherrock and Van Leuven all begin campaigns

The PDC Women's Series begins on Saturday 7 February with two events with the first one having already kicked off at Halle 39 in Hildesheim which will also be home to the ProTour in the coming days.

Beau Greaves will play despite some doubts mainly due to the fact that the imperious queen of the Women's Series now plays full time on the PDC ProTour.

Albeit Lisa Ashton who is also involved when she played on the ProTour also did play a heavy part but Greaves will play at least five days in a row with ProTours as well as European Tour Qualifiers to come for 'Beau N Arrow'.

Joining her includes a pretty strong contingent considering the Dutch Open is also taking place this weekend. Rhian O'Sullivan, Fallon Sherrock, Noa-Lynn van Leuven among others have in fact decided to play the two tournaments instead over playing in the WDF tournament which is well known for its big number of entries and being one of the most well attended in the world.

The action is already into the latter stages of Event One with Event Two coming up later this afternoon. There will also be two events on Sunday following the same format. The format is best of seven legs up until to the Quarter Finals, and then best of nine legs for the quarters, semis and final with £2,500 for the winner of each event.

There is also the added incentive of spots in the Women's World Matchplay which works on a rolling one year system so since July that has been ongoing, as well as Grand Slam of Darts and PDC World Darts Championship. It is the only secondary tour without Tour Cards for the champions. It can be watched on both PDCTV and followed on DartConnect.
