The first part of the Premier League Darts nights in Milton Keynes will be concluded on Sunday evening with the twelfth round of the competition. After today there is a break of two days.
For
Michael van Gerwen it will be an important game, just before the short interruption. The 31-year-old Dutchman
has dropped to the fifth place in the
Premier League Darts after
his defeat against Gerwyn Price on Saturday evening.
He meets number seven
Michael Smith, who only has one point less than the world number one. For both men it's a matter of keeping the top four of the ranking in sight.
Leader
Glen Durrant will take on number eight
Daryl Gurney, who surprised on Saturday evening with
a victory over Peter Wright. Still, his chances of participating in the play-offs seem very slim. Wright himself meets Price, while
Nathan Aspinall and
Gary Anderson face each other in the first match of the evening.
