Jonny Clayton claimed his fourth nightly win of the 2026 Premier League Darts with a 6-4 victory over Luke Littler in the Night 11 final in Rotterdam. Clayton produced a composed display in the decider, breaking at a key moment before finishing the job on tops to seal victory, but the night was also shaped by Littler’s response to a hostile crowd at Rotterdam Ahoy.

Just a week on from his clash with Gian van Veen, Littler was met with heavy jeers throughout the evening but still fought his way into the final, overcoming both Gerwyn Price and Luke Humphries before eventually falling short.

How Littler and Clayton reached the Rotterdam final

Luke Littler produced a composed display to open his night, defeating Gerwyn Price 6-3 in a hostile Rotterdam atmosphere. Littler handled the crowd well throughout and sealed victory with a clinical 124 checkout on the bull.
He was then pushed all the way by Luke Humphries in the semi-finals, edging a dramatic 6-5 win. Humphries forced a deciding leg with a 13-dart break, but Littler held his nerve with the darts, cleaning up 80 on D10 to secure his place in the final.
For Jonny Clayton, the route to the final was equally impressive. The Welshman stunned the Rotterdam crowd in the quarter-finals, defeating home favourite Michael van Gerwen 6-2, sealing the win in style with a brilliant 170 checkout.
Clayton then came through a tense semi-final against Josh Rock, eventually prevailing 6-5. Rock forced a decider with a superb 142 finish, but missed chances at D12 and D6 proved costly, allowing Clayton to punish and move through to another nightly final.

Clayton breaks clear to deny Littler after fast start

The final began with Littler looking set to carry his momentum through. The world champion opened with an 11-dart leg and raced into a 2-0 lead, firing in three maximums early and applying immediate pressure on Clayton. Even then, missed darts at double hinted that the contest was far from settled.
Clayton responded quickly. After breaking back to level at 2-2, the Welshman began to find his rhythm, punishing missed opportunities from Littler and taking control of the middle phase of the match. A crucial break in the seventh leg, aided by a scrappy visit from Littler that failed to produce a dart at double, shifted the balance firmly in Clayton’s favour.
From there, the Ferret kept his composure. A clinical 78 finish moved him within one leg of victory, and although Littler briefly delayed the outcome by holding throw under pressure, Clayton made no mistake when the chance came. After missing tops for a 131 finish, he returned to pin the same target and seal a 6-4 win.

Roundup: Dutch hopes ended early as Rock run continues and Humphries shows signs of life

Night 11 in Rotterdam proved a disappointing one for the home crowd, with both Dutch representatives eliminated before the semi-final stage.
Gian van Veen was the first to fall, beaten 6-2 by Luke Humphries. Humphries produced one of his more clinical displays of the campaign, finishing efficiently to take control of the contest.
As mentioned already, Michael van Gerwen was then knocked out 6-2 by Jonny Clayton. Despite opening with a 122 checkout on the bull, Van Gerwen was unable to sustain that level, with missed doubles allowing the Welshman to take control and silence the Rotterdam crowd.
Elsewhere, Josh Rock continued his strong recent form with a dominant 6-1 win over Stephen Bunting. Rock was clinical throughout, extending his run of quarter-final victories and again showing his ability to apply pressure on the top names.

Humphries’ night also offered encouragement despite his semi-final exit. As mentioned earlier, the defending champion pushed Littler all the way to a deciding leg and briefly threatened a turnaround with a 13-dart break, only to fall just short.
