Price aiming for improvement despite brilliant Edhouse win: "I just need to be on my A-game"

Gerwyn Price will be aiming to claim another title this weekend at the 2021 European Championship and despite a brilliant display against Ritchie Edhouse, improvement is the name of the game.

Price averaged 104.53 in seeing off 'Madhouse' 6-2 with 50% on his doubles but he spoke afterwards and said if he wants to win, he has to be better and find his A-game.

"It was a steady performance and I did the right things at the right times," said Price. "I wasn't under much pressure but I was pretty steady today.

"It's a longer format now and I'll be more comfortable. I'm playing well and I just need to be on my A-game.

"I'm happy with the performance and I can build from that - if I want to win this tournament, I have to play a bit better."
