Price kicks off PDC Home Tour campaign with victory over Rodriguez, Woodhouse also eases past Evetts

The PDC Home Tour has began with Gerwyn Price, Luke Woodhouse and Ted Evetts claiming victories at the half way stage on the second night of action with a potential winner still very much up for debate.

Price kicked off proceedings with a 5-2 victory over Rowby-John Rodriguez which saw him hit a 97 average with a high checkout of 125 as he looked to make his first strides into the next round and not suffer the same fate as Peter Wright who last night was dumped out.

Woodhouse eased past Ted Evetts by the same scoreline hitting an 89 average with a high checkout of 140, his doubling saw him hit 45 percent (5/11) which was the difference between the pair and saw the Bewdley ace put some early points on the board.

Evetts though returned to face off against Rowby-John Rodriguez and he bounced back well claiming a 5-3 win with a high checkout of 102 with 31 percent on the doubles. The latter didn't perform well on the outer ring hitting only 3/17 en route.
