The past PDC World Darts Championship ended in disappointment for Gerwyn Price. But the 37-year-old Welshman is still looking forward to the new year with confidence.
Price was a losing finalist at the Bahrain Darts Masters last week. After having to wear ear defenders and saying that it might be the last time he plays at the World Championship, Price suggested a solution on his Instagram.
“Great week in Bahrain,” he posted on Instagram. “What a fantastic welcome we’ve had, loved every minute of it, met some amazing people, hopefully be back there again next year, I’m sure I heard Bahrain have put in a bid to host the World Championships.”
In a subsequent message, Price posted: “I have a Very good feeling about 2023 [heart eyes and darts emoji]. #LetsGo.”
