Price wins world title with lowest tournament average since Lewis in 2012

Gerwyn Price claimed the PDC World Championship title on Sunday night with ‘The Iceman’ seeing off Gary Anderson in the final.
But despite showing flashes of brilliance at times, Price ended with the lowest tournament since Adrian Lewis winning in 2012.
He hit 98.44 which is compared to 94.64 for Lewis. Last year, Peter Wright won his with 99.18 while the highest mark goes to Michael van Gerwen with a brilliant 106.99 back in 2017.
