The prize fund breakdown has been released for the European Championship which begins this Thursday in Gottingen and sees James Wade aiming to defend his title he won 12 months ago.
For whoever does win the European Championship, they will have an increase on last year's total with £500,000 prize fund compared to £400,000 last year.
This means that the winner gets £120,000 compared to last year when it was down at £100,000. The runner-up will claim £60,000; with £40,000 in comparison for Simon Whitlock last year who lost in the final.
Semi finalists will receive £32,000 (an increase of £12,000), Quarter-Finalists will get £15,000 and it goes all the way down to first round with the losers getting £6,000.
