Nathan Rafferty has sealed a second PDC Development Tour title of the season edging past Gian van Veen in the opening event of the weekend in Hildesheim.
It is the 11th event of the season overall and was the third final of the season for Rafferty after winning in Event Six and losing in the Event Nine final. He saw off Keane Barry and Lewy Williams in the latter stages.
The Development Tour is the youth circuit of the PDC. This tour is open to players aged 16 to 23. Players who turn 24 during the season may continue to participate.
At each Development Tour tournament there is a prize fund of £10,000 to be shared. A ranking is drawn up with the prize money. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two will receive an invitation to the World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2023 and 2024.
