Nathan Rafferty has sealed a fifth career PDC Development Tour title with victory over Lewy Williams.
It was an all Tour Card holder final with Rafferty defeating Williams in a potential look at the future of PDC Darts.
But it was The Natural who came so close to winning the overall Development Tour last year who sealed the latest tournament.
The Development Tour is the youth circuit of the PDC. This tour is open for players aged 16 to 23. Players who turn 24 during the season are allowed to continue competing.
In 2022, the PDC Development Tour circuit consists of 24 tournaments. Last year, due to COVID-19, there was a separate tour for British and European players, but this year both circuits have been merged again.
Each Development Tour tournament has a prize pool of £10,000. With the prize money a ranking is made. At the end of the season the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the PDC World Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2023 and 2024.
