Results Day Five - PDC Winter Series: Ratajski set to face Cullen in final (Live Blog)

The 23rd Players Championship event of the season will be played during the fifth day of the PDC Winter Series on Saturday. All results can be followed in our live blog.

The PDC Winter Series consists of five Players Championship tournaments from November 10-14. All results during this five-day event count towards the PDC Winter Series Order of Merit.

Update 19:30 - Ratajski set to face Cullen in final

The final is set at the last PDC Winter Series with Krzysztof Ratajski set to face Joe Cullen shortly.

Ratajski who has claimed victory on the Players Championship series already this year but has won two every year since 2018 will aim to complete that feat once more. He breezed past 'The Hurricane' Kim Huybrechts with a 7-2 win averaging 101.6.

Cullen continued his fine form as of late including this week by reaching the final with a chance at a second title of the year after defeating Andy Boulton 7-3.

Update 18:55 - Ratajski v Huybrechts and Boulton v Cullen set for semi-finals

There is an interesting complexion at the final PDC Winter Series event as the semi-finals have been confirmed.

It will see Krzysztof Ratajski, a winner on the Players Championship series this year and as a result the favourite take on Kim Huybrechts who has not won win since a European Tour in 2015.

The other will see Joe Cullen, again a winner this year on the European Tour against Andy Boulton who will aim to claim his first and alleviate his Tour Card fears.

Ratajski saw off Adrian Lewis who averaged 105 but it wasn't enough with 'The Polish Eagle' averaging a massive 112 in a 6-2 win.

While Huybrechts edged past Ryan Joyce with another brilliant display averaging 102 to win 6-4. Boulton saw off Peter Wright, who won yesterday and has again looked the class of the field in a deciding leg.

While Cullen survived two match darts against Daryl Gurney who unlike 'The Rockstar' will now not make it to the Grand Slam of Darts.

Update 18:15 - Lewis v Ratajski and Gurney v Cullen among Quarter-Finals

The Quarter-Finals have been confirmed at the final PDC Winter Series and it will see such ties as Adrian Lewis against Krzysztof Ratajski and Daryl Gurney versus Joe Cullen.

Lewis has had another good run today and saw off Callan Rydz, who vanquished Michael van Gerwen like 'Jackpot' did yesterday. He will now take on 'The Polish Eagle' who saw off Ritchie Edhouse 6-2.

Kim Huybrechts ended the day of Nathan Aspinall and now has Ryan Joyce in his sights who defeated Adam Hunt 6-2.

Then it is the turn of Peter Wright who is aiming for back-to-back titles when he faces Andy Boulton who saw off Dirk van Duijvenbode.

Finally like alluded to Gurney will face Cullen after both ended the day of Karel Sedlacek and Boris Krcmar and hence helping John Henderson and Andy Hamilton towards confirming World Championship spots.

Update 17:35 - Wright breezes past O'Connor to move into Last 16

The final day of action at the PDC Winter Series is quickly moving into the Last 16 with Peter Wright producing an excellent display to breeze past William O'Connor 6-1.

Wright who claimed the title on Day Four averaged 103 to defeat 'The Magpie' as he looks towards claiming back-to-back.

Michael Smith won't claim a third of the week after a 6-3 defeat to Ryan Joyce who averaged 101. Of course Dave Chisnall as well produced his brilliance which can be read below.

There is also the interesting race to the World Championship and the final chance for many before the PDPA Qualifier. Karel Sedlacek and the already qualified Boris Krcmar could have denied John Henderson and Andy Hamilton.

But Daryl Gurney who is looking for a Grand Slam spot and Joe Cullen breezed past them in the first games of the Last 16 to alleviate their fears.

Update 17:05 - Smith battles past Barry, White defeats Ashton in thriller

The second round is complete at the final PDC Winter Series with some superb victories for Michael Smith and Ian White in particular.

Smith saw off the emerging Irish talent, Keane Barry in a 6-4 victory on the streaming board in a real battle for the double winner this week.

While for White, he faced Lisa Ashton and came through in a tie which saw 11 legs and 11 holds of throw. In the end a 68 checkout concluded it for 'Diamond'.

Peter Wright also came through earlier on with a 100 average to down Steve Brown. The likes of Krzysztof Ratajski, Nathan Aspinall and Devon Petersen all also came through and are into the Last 32.

Update 16:00 - Van den Bergh, Joyce and Van Duijvenbode impress as first round concludes

The first round has concluded on the final day of the PDC Winter Series with Dimitri van den Bergh, Ryan Joyce and Dirk van Duijvenbode producing some strong displays.

Van den Bergh faced off against Jamie Hughes and claimed a 6-5 win with a 104 average but this was bettered by Joyce who averaged 110 with a 6-1 win over Gavin Carlin.

While also impressing included Ryan Meikle (d. Martin Schindler 6-5 with a 102 average) and Van Duijvenbode (d. Scott Mitchell 6-3 with a 104 average).

Update 15:30 - Rydz dumps out Van Gerwen

Select second round ties have began for those who have byes and the World Number One, Michael van Gerwen is out of proceedings in Coventry so will not take a title from the Winter Series.

He lost out to Callan Rydz as 'The Riot's superb week continues in a 6-4 victory with a 100 average. Elsewhere, the final first round ties are taking place with Wright and De Sousa currently in second round action.

Update 14:50 - Smith hits 112 average against Lennon as first round begins

The first round has begun on the final day of the PDC Winter Series with Michael Smith producing the standout display so far with a 112 average to see off Steve Beaton in a 6-3 victory.

Also through include the likes of Krzysztof Ratajski, Nathan Aspinall, James Wade and Ian White with Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright and Jose de Sousa beginning their day in the second round shortly.

The likes of Glen Durrant, Damon Heta and Max Hopp are all out though after suffering narrow defeats to begin the day.

The PDC Winter Series kicked off on Tuesday and saw Michael Smith claiming the titles on the first two days of the series. Gerwyn Price won the title on the third day, while Peter Wright claimed the title on Friday. View the ranking after Day Four below.

Update 13:15 - Draw released

The draw has been released for Day Five of the PDC Winter Series in Coventry. Among the top ties are Michael Smith versus Steve Beaton and James Wade against Andy Hamilton. Nathan Aspinall faces Jim Williams, while Vincent van der Voort takes on fellow Dutchman Jeffrey de Zwaan.
