Wattimena becomes last qualifier for Grand Slam of Darts

Jermaine Wattimena became the last player to qualify for the Grand Slam of Darts. It will be his debut at this major tournament.

Wattimena finished after a good week - which included a final on Tuesday - on the seventh place of the PDC Winter Series Order of Merit. As the top six already secured qualification for the Grand Slam of Darts, the qualifying spot moves to number seven Wattimena.

There will be three Dutch participants at the Grand Slam in the upcoming week. Michael van Gerwen and Dirk van Duijvenbode secured their place after reaching the final of a televised event.

The Grand Slam of Darts will be played in Coventry from November 16-24. As usual, it will start with eight groups of four players. The numbers one and two of each group advance to the knockout phase.
