The Quarter-Final line-up is confirmed on the third day of the PDC Summer Series with Michael van Gerwen and Jose de Sousa in particular impressing in winning through.

Van Gerwen was 2-1 down against James Wade but 'The Machine' was powerless as Mighty Mike went through the gears claiming a 6-2 win with a 107.3 average.

De Sousa on the otherhand continues his astonishing form today hitting a 105.9 average in a 6-3 victory over Gerwyn Price. He will now face Stephen Bunting who will do his chances of making the World Matchplay a world of good by making the latter half of proceedings today.

Peter Wright also impressed in the Last 16 hitting a 103 average in downing Jermaine Wattimena 6-4. He will take on Jeff Smith who has been in good form since regaining his PDC Tour Card at the start of the year.

Finishing the line-up for the Quarter-Finals are Daryl Gurney and Ian White who took care of Ryan Meikle and Jonny Clayton respectively.
