The action is coming towards its conclusion on Day Three of the PDC Summer Series and we have reached the semi-final stage in Milton Keynes.
First semi-final sees
Jose de Sousa who is having another phenomenal run. He averaged 102 this time in easing past
Stephen Bunting 6-2. He will take on
Daryl Gurney who played even better smashing in a 104 average in dispelling
Ian White 6-0.
The other semi-final sees
Michael van Gerwen who played out a brilliant tie with
Chris Dobey. Both players averaged 106 in a 6-4 win for the Dutchman who will hope to go on to claim a second Players Championship of the week.
Standing in his way though is a player who has made a final this year and is a classy operator in
Jeff Smith. 'The Silencer' edged past
Peter Wright 6-3 with a 96 average to set up his tie with the World Number One.
