Rob Cross to play Nathan Aspinall in Exeter final after beating Luke Littler in Night Five of Premier League

Rob Cross defeated Luke Litter to reach the final of Night Five in Premier League Darts, his first of the season, where he will play Nathan Aspinall in Exeter. Cross held throw in the first leg before attacking the Littler throw in the second, breaking throw in 11 darts.

Littler came back though to restore parity, as both players failed to carry their performances over from the quarter finals, where they averaged well over a ton.

Cross took out a brilliant 100 finish in two to re-take the lead, before Littler missed the bullseye for a 167 checkout, but managed to tidy up. At 4-3 down though, disaster struck for the teenager as he missed three darts to make it 4-4 and instead lost throw and found himself one leg away from defeat.

Littler almost took out a tops-tops finish to win another leg, but given another go at it by Cross, who missed three match darts, he could not take the golden opportunity.

Cross will now play Aspinall in the final, where a new nightly winner will be decided in the 2024 Premier League.
