Last weekend saw both Mark Cleaver and Ben Robb get themselves a ProTour title in the 2022 DPNZ Events Five and Six.
Cleaver got himself the title in Event Five on the Saturday though when he defeated Robb 5-3 in the quarter finals of the ProTour in Birkenhead.
Mark Cleaver continued his strong performances when he beat Kayden Milne 6-1 in the semi finals then defeating John Hurring 7-3 to claim his maiden DPNZ ProTour crown.

Sunday was when Ben Robb saw his success, the 'Big Rig' breezed past the quarter finals beating Josh Roberts 5-1 however this led on to a much more close encounter in the semi-finals.
Robb then went on to face Jimmy Samuels where he edged his opponent in the last leg beating him 6-5 setting him up for a battle in the final against Haupai Puha.
Puha looked strong in the quarters and semis however he couldn't make it count when it mattered and Ben Robb fought out a 7-5 win making it his fourth ProTour title of the year.

The final two DPNZ ProTour events of the year will take place from October 15-16 , just before the DPNZ qualifiers take place on October 17th to participate in the Cazoo World Darts Championship.
