Another day, another afternoon session at the 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship as the next crop of darting talents take to the oche at the Alexandra Palace.
Ian White is the latest seed and potentially the most vulnerable so far going into his tie with Chris Landman.
'The Countryman' wasn't impressive against Scott Mitchell but played an out of sorts Scotty Dog so will hope to grow into the tournament against 'Diamond' who has lost in the second round the last four years.
Before White takes to the oche is Darius 'Lucky D' Labanauskas with the former Quarter-Finalist having form at the Alexandra Palace previously. He won't be facing Charles Losper but Mike de Decker who came in as first reserve.
Fighting for his darting life on the PDC ProTour, he will face a tough task in the tricky Lithuanian.
Before that is a two time ranking winner this year who will make his Ally Pally return in Callan Rydz facing Yuki Yamada who makes his second appearance after losing to Darren Webster back in 2020.
While Raymond Smith, the first of a darting duo alongside his son, Ky Smith will make his return for the first time since 2019 when he lost a close one to Alan Tabern.
Facing Jamie Hughes who was ruled out recently in Minehead due to a positive Covid-19 test, it could be an opportunity for the Aussie to win on his return.
