The final day of the opening group in the fourth week of the
MODUS Online Live League is set to take place on Wednesday morning.
Martin Adams is the leading light and currently leads the way ahead of
Jamie Lewis as both battle it out for the first spot in Saturday's final.
Adams is two points ahead of Lewis and Shaun McDonald with
Matthew Dennant also not out of contention on 10 points. It is all to play for going into this morning's action.
At the end of today, while the top player will move through to the final those who finish second and third will play a new group against three new players on Thursday and Friday evening.
Those are Darren 'Ice Cold' Beveridge, Jamie Clark and Greg Ritchie in a trio of Scots coming down to the Live League.
The numbers four, five and six will face a familiar contingent of Kevin Burness, Stephen Burton and Dave Parletti who will be involved on Thursday and Friday morning.
The top two of the two new groups also qualify for the final, which therefore consists of five players in total.
Unlike the first edition of the
MODUS Online Live League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the
Online Darts YouTube channel.
