The standings have been updated after the latest night of
Premier League Darts action with
Michael van Gerwen topping the table after two nights.
Van Gerwen currently sits on three points among four other players who also sit on a win and a draw so far albeit with a long way to go.
Jonny Clayton is behind on leg difference with his maiden win coming against
Glen Durrant on Night Two. 'The Ferret' has been touted as one of the players to watch in terms of title contention and has shown some of that form so far.
While
Rob Cross was seen by some as being in potential relegation contention and despite it being early days, he is unbeaten and followed up a draw with
Jose de Sousa by seeing off
James Wade.
Dimitri van den Bergh though claimed a 7-5 win with a 103.7 average and seven 180's in seeing off
Nathan Aspinall to continue his impressive start and concludes the current top four.
Gary Anderson is also on three points after edging past Jose de Sousa and is in fifth while Nathan Aspinall who was the only player to win on Night One lost out to Dimitri van den Bergh and sits sixth.
Jose de Sousa, James Wade and
Peter Wright with the latter in the current relegation spots all have a point apiece. While reigning champion, Glen Durrant brings up the rear with zero points from his opening two games.
