This Saturday evening in Riesa, the fight for European Tour glory really starts to heat up as big-names such as Gerwyn Price, Luke Humphries, Peter Wright and Nathan Aspinall among others, enter the fray at the 2025 International Darts Open.
The winners will advance to the final day. Read below which eight matches are set for Saturday evening.

Dimitri Van den Bergh has been enduring a woeful run on the European Tour of late. In fact, the two-time major winning Belgian has lost his last 8 consecutive matches on the circuit.
In Thibault Tricole, Van den Bergh also faces off against a man high on confidence. The former Lakeside finalist made history on Friday by becoming the first ever Frenchman to win on the European Tour stage. Can he take advantage of Van den Bergh's frailties and add another win this evening?
Few players have started 2025 in as good form as the resurgent Jonny Clayton. The Welshman can within touching distance of winning the Winmau World Masters earlier this year and backed that up with a semi-final run at the UK Open.
Van Barneveld meanwhile has proven slightly more inconsistent, but especially in the last week has shown some good form. After a couple of solid days at the Players Championship in Leicester, 'Barney' confidently dispatched Patrick Klingelhöfer in his opening match in Riesa on Friday.
In arguably the tie of the round, Gerwyn Price faces off against Mike de Decker on Saturday night. Price, who comes into this event off the back of a narrow defeat in the final of Night Nine of the 2025 Premier League Darts last Thursday, has shown glimpses of his very best level so far this year.
De Decker though, after a slow start to the year, has sparkled on the Euro Tour already this year. The Belgian reached the final of the opening event of the European Tour circuit in front of his home fans before ultimately losing out to Luke Littler. Fireworks are almost certain in this match!
World number one Luke Humphries returns to European Tour action later this evening. 'Cool Hand Luke' is still searching for his first Euro Tour title of the year and begins his International Darts Open campaign against Dutchman, Dirk van Duijvenbode.
Van Duijvenbode has already taken a win on the Riesa stage this weekend. The 'Aubergenius' impressively dispatched German talent Niko Springer on Friday, building some much needed confidence before a battle with the former world champion.
The match where Michael van Gerwen was initially slated to perform, the three-time world champion was eventually forced out of the 2025 International Darts Open by injury. In his place, Van Gerwen's compatriot Richard Veenstra gets a shot at Euro Tour glory. A big boost for the world number 51, who is yet to qualify for a Euro Tour event this year.
In the form of former UK Open champion Andrew Gilding though, Veenstra faces a tricky task. 'Goldfinger' impressed with an average of 98.61 in his first round win over William O'Connor yesterday.
The two-time world champion Peter Wright also takes to the Riesa stage tonight. The Scottish crowd favourite takes on the reigning European champion Ritchie Edhouse.
Edhouse has struggled to find his best form in 2025 so far, and despite not hitting his very best level against Petr Krivka in the opening round, 'Mahouse' did enough to secure a 6-4 win on Friday afternoon.
After finally taking his first ever European Tour title at the European Darts Trophy last time out, Nathan Aspinall returns to action on the continent against former Premier League Darts finalist Joe Cullen.
Cullen, who by his own admission was 'rubbish' in his opening round win over Robert Owen, will likely need to see a big improvement if he's to secure a return on Sunday for finals day at the 2025 International Darts Open.
Finally, closing out the second round, Northern Irishman Josh Rock faces off against Dutch prodigy Gian van Veen in a meeting of PDC World Youth champions. Rock took Players Championship glory in midweek, something Van Veen has already done this year.
The Dutchman proved himself again yesterday too, sealing a 6-1 win over Paul Goyer on the Riesa stage.
