Schedule Sunday afternoon at World Darts Championship including Ricky Evans, Jim Williams and Joe Cullen

It's time for the third day of play at the 2024 World Darts Championship. Read on to see which darters will take the stage on Sunday afternoon at the Alexandra Palace in London.

First of all, it is Ricky Evans who gets to make his appearance against Simon Adams. The latter is the winner of the African qualifying tournament. For Adams it will be his debut at a major tournament. Recently, the South African was able to gain some extra match experience in the MODUS Super Series, where he did well. Evans has a whole lot more experience. For 'Rapid Ricky' it will already be his ninth World Championship appearance. Evans, however, has never managed to reach the last sixteen at Alexandra Palace.

In the second match, another exotic player. After thirteen years away, Norman Madhoo makes his return to the World Darts Championship. The darter from Guyana previously participated in the 2004, 2010 and 2011 editions. His opponent will be Jim Williams. The former Lakeside finalist is competing for the third time in the PDC's World Darts Championship and last year knocked out James Wade before losing in the third round.

Matt Campbell crosses swords with Lourence Ilagan in Sunday afternoon's third match. For Campbell, it will be his fifth World Championship appearance, but the Canadian is still waiting for his first win at Alexandra Palace. Ilagan is playing for the eighth time at the World Darts Championship. Only last year did the Filipino make it to the second round for the first time, although he did then lose that one 3-0 in sets to Dimitri van den Bergh.

In the final match of the afternoon session, it is Joe Cullen who takes on Darren Penhall. The latter was responsible for the elimination of Jules van Dongen earlier in the tournament.
