The PDC has announced the playing
schedule for the 2023
World Grand Prix. From Oct. 2 to 8, 32 players will compete in the unique double-in double-out tournament in Leicester.
The first-round duels will take place on the two opening days. Dirk van Duijvenbode is scheduled in the opening match of the tournament. 'Aubergenius' will then take on Brendan Dolan.
The likes of
Gerwyn Price,
Gary Anderson,
Michael Smith and
Nathan Aspinall will also be in action on the first day of play. Price faces Danny Noppert, Anderson is up against Jose De Sousa, Smith does battle with Callan Rydz whilst Aspinall will face Stephen Bunting.
Michael van Gerwen opens his World Grand Prix campaign on Tuesday, Oct. 3. Defending champion Van Gerwen will open his tournament against junior world champion Josh Rock.
After the first round, the eight duels from the second round will take place on Oct. 4 and 5. The quarterfinals are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 6, and the semifinals are on Saturday, Oct. 7. The grand final will take place on Sunday, Oct. 8.
