Incredible Taylor statistic from past World Grand Prix victories shows his class

In early October, the World Grand Prix will be held in Leicester. Phil Taylor, with 11 final victories, is still the all-time record holder of this PDC major.

Taylor won this tournament, traditionally played on the "double in, double out" system no fewer than twice with an average of over 98.

To put this punishing performance in perspective, we should add that the average for regular TV tournaments (in which it is not necessary to start with a double) was 97.51 in the last two years.
