BIALECKI SEALS EVENT 15 SUCCESS! 🇵🇱🏆 Sebastian Bialecki clinches his fifth Winmau Development Tour title with a deciding-leg victory against Levy Frauenfelder in Sunday's showpiece!
Sebastian Bialecki ended the third tournament weekend of the PDC Development Tour by winning the fifteenth tournament of the PDC Development Tour. It's a fifth title on the Development Tour for the Pole.
Bialecki easily reached the quarter-finals of the tournament by conceding only four legs in his first five matches. He beat James Buckby (4-1), Jonas Stagg (4-0), Nathan Care (4-1), Leighton Bennett (4-0) and Bradly Roes (4-2).
After that, it became a lot more difficult for 'Bolt'. Adam Gawlas was beaten 5-3 in the quarter-finals, which was followed by victories over Tavis Dudeney (5-4) and Levy Frauenfelder (5-4) for the title.
The Development Tour is the youth circuit of the PDC. This tour is open to players ages 16 through 23. Players who turn 24 during the season may continue to compete.
At each Development Tour tournament, there is a prize pool of 15,000 pounds to be divided. With the prize money, a ranking is established. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2025 and 2026. The ranking winner also gets to compete in the Grand Slam of Darts.
