PDC European Tour Order of Merit: Dave Chisnall moves up to seventh spot after winning title; Luke Littler keeps first place

Luke Littler is still the leader on the Euro Tour Order of Merit after the eighth Euro Tour tournament of the season. 'The Nuke' was missing last weekend at the European Darts Open in Leverkusen, but his competitors failed to overtake Littler.
Martin Schindler came the closest. 'The Wall' made it to the quarter-finals, falling 1,000 pounds short of knocking Littler off first place. Rob Cross and Luke Humphries were both eliminated in the second round, leaving them in third and fourth place respectively.
The European Darts Open was won by Dave Chisnall, who took the top prize of £30,000. He rose to seventh place on the Euro Tour Order of Merit, passing the likes of Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price In the final of the European Darts Open, Chisnall won 8-6 against Ross Smith, who is still above Chisnall in the standings with sixth place.
The European Tour is now due for a short summer break. From the end of August, the last few European Tour tournaments will be played in Hildesheim, Antwerp, Budapest, Basel and Prague.
At the end of the season, the top 32 players on the ranking list will compete in the European Championship in Dortmund. This tournament is scheduled from 24 to 27 October.
