Fallon Sherrock has continued her
Grand Slam of Darts fairytale moving into her maiden PDC major quarter-final in Wolverhampton after stunning Mensur Suljovic again.
Sherrock produced a 10-5 win to see off 'The Gentle' who she defeated in her famous run at the Alexandra Palace two years ago and lightning has struck twice for the Milton Keynes ace.
Sherrock was behind early on but made it three legs on the spin to lead at the interval 3-2. She punished a poor at times Suljovic who averaged just 79 in going behind 4-3.
Her mini turnaround was complete as Sherrock made it five out of the last six legs with a 90 checkout for 5-3. At the interval, he stopped the rot but Sherrock returned and kept building going only away from victory at 9-4.
His revival was coming but at a pivotal moment as he claimed a 106 checkout to keep the match alive. Only for the Queen of the Palace to pin double nine for the victory.
