Michael Smith is set to face Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals of Week 14 of Premier League Darts action in Sheffield.
This after surviving seven match darts in seeing off Jonny Clayton in a magnificent comeback from 5-2 down over the league leader.
Smith fell behind 1-3 in the early stages as Clayton threw out three 100+ finishes with 102, 100 and 110. At 5-2 The Ferret had five match darts, but missed them all. Smith then threw out a 70 to bring the deficit back to 3-5.
Clayton missed another match dart in both the ninth and tenth leg. 'Bully Boy' returned to 5-5 and Smith hit a 96 finish in the final leg to take the win.
