Spellman continues to lead race to PDC World Darts Championship in CDC Order of Merit as Buntz gains ground

The 2024 PDC World Darts Championships is only a matter of months away. All over the world, the battle for qualification spots is heating up and the North American, CDC Tour is no different.

Alex Spellman leads the way at the top of the Order of Merit with eight events down and just four events remaining and looks likely to be set for an Alexandra Palace debut. Currently holding the second World Championships spot is Danny Lauby Jr although after the most recent block of action he is under serious pressure from behind.

Stowe Buntz won back-to-back titles at the most recent block, including one of the craziest ending to a leg of darts you are ever likely to see in a semi-final win over the Canadian, David Cameron. Thanks to this, Buntz is now tied with Lauby on points meaning it is all to play for in the remaining events.

In the battle for the Canadian spot at the Ally Pally, Jacob Taylor holds a narrow lead over Cameron, who in turn has Jim Long snapping at his heels.
