Stephen Bunting boosted his confidence ahead of the 2026
PDC World Darts Championship on Saturday night by winning an exhibition event, topping the field at Untouchables 15 in Portsmouth.
The exhibition in the south of England featured a strong line-up, with Bunting joined by
Steve Beaton,
Chris Dobey,
Josh Rock,
Luke Littler,
Adam Lipscombe,
Jayden Walker,
Gemma Hayter and
Keegan Brown.
Twelve-year-old sensation Walker had the chance to test himself against Littler, but the reigning World Champion proved far too strong and ran out a 3–0 winner. From there, the main programme got underway. In the first quarter-final, Dobey swept past Brown 4–0, producing a 170 checkout in the process.
Lipscombe then delighted his home crowd by upsetting Rock 4–2. Bunting became the third semi-finalist after edging Beaton 4–3, before Littler brushed aside Hayter with ease. Lipscombe secured the first spot in the final with a 4–3 victory over Dobey. Bunting followed him through courtesy of a superb 4–3 win over Littler, averaging 100.27, and he went on to claim the title by beating Lipscombe 4–2.
