Last weekend, the European Darts Open took place in Leverkusen. British players and officials are struggling to return to the UK.
In Germany, many strikes are currently taking place at airports and railway stations. Hopp, who joined German broadcaster DAZN on Sunday, said darters from England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland are now having to find detours to get home.
"There were quite a few players who now have problems leaving Germany because of all the strikes going on here. They were looking for new flights. Some are now travelling via Brussels. Many said, 'We'll go via Belgium and fly from there'."
Some players who were active in Leverkusen last weekend are expected to arrive in Berlin as early as Wednesday. The German capital will host the next round of Premier League Darts play on Thursday. Hopp came up with an advice for these players: ''when in doubt, go on holiday in Germany for a few days.''
