Recently, discussions have regularly flared up on social media about which achievement is the most difficult; a hole-in-one in golf, a
nine-darter in darts, a 147 break in snooker or a perfect game in bowling.
A hole-in-one means the golfer manages to hit the ball from the tee into the hole in one stroke. A nine darter represents the shortest possible way to finish a leg, in nine darts.
The 147 break is the maximum break a player can make in snooker. This way is only possible by potting a black ball after each red ball, followed by all remaining colours. A perfect game in bowling consists of 12 consecutive strikes.
