Suljovic believes he's back towards best and sets sights on lofty goal: "One more Premier League and I hope it's next year"

Mensur Suljovic after losing to Simon Whitlock yesterday was back in the winners' circle and still in with a shot of reaching the Last 16 of the Grand Slam of Darts.

"I focus on my game, yesterday I did not do this and this is my problem," said Suljovic post match.

This after a period where Suljovic admits he was ready to quit but he has found the love again and is after a big goal.

"It feels good, after seven months of no play. Mensur is back. I thought I'm finished after five months no practice. I'm a practice player, 5, 6, 7 hours no problem. I do 2-3 hours and think I'm out then I thought Mensur give it your best and maybe you'll comeback.

"I tell my boss, next year I'm playing Premier League. I'm winning semi-final, final of the World Championship. One more Premier League and I hope it's next year."
