The times when August at the PDC consisted only of World Series tournaments are definitely over. Read the full PDC

This month includes tournaments on the Pro Tour, World Series, Women's Series, Challenge Tour and Euro Tour. In addition, several qualifying tournaments will be played as the rest of the year takes shape.
July 31-Aug. 2: Players Championship 15-17
The Pro Tour season resumes on Wednesday, July 31. A
Players Championship tournament will be played daily through Friday, August 2, in Milton Keynes, England.
Each Players Championship tournament involves 128 players. First, the 128 PDC Tour Card holders are invited. If not all Tour Card holders participate, Challenge Tour players are invited.
A number of matches during these Players Championship tournaments are played on a livestream. This live stream can be viewed
via PDC TV. The winner of a Players Championship tournament collects the top prize of 15,000 pounds.
Aug. 3: ET11-12 Tour Card Holder Qualifiers
After the Pro Tours, the darters are not done yet, as two qualifying tournaments are also scheduled for August 3. These tournaments are open to Tour Card holders and at each qualifier ten starting spots for a Euro Tour tournament are up for grabs.
First at stake are ten qualifying spots for the Hungarian Darts Trophy. Next, players compete for qualification for the Swiss Darts Trophy. The top-16 of the world rankings and top-16 of the Pro Tour rankings are automatically invited to these tournaments.
Aug. 9-10: Australian Darts Masters
Traditionally, World Series tournaments are played in August in 'Down Under'. Last year, the tournament in Wollongong was still called the New South Wales Dart Masters, but as of 2024, the tournament name has been renamed to the Australian Darts Masters.
Sixteen players will compete in the World Series tournament in Wollongong on August 9-10. Among others, Luke Littler, Rob Cross, Gerwyn Price, Luke Humphries, Michael Smith, Dimitri van den Bergh, Damon Heta, Simon Whitlock and Haupai Puha will make their appearance there.
Aug. 10-11: Women's Series 13-16
The ladies will also compete in the month of August. The fourth tournament weekend of the PDC Women's Series will be played in Hildesheim, Germany, hosting tournaments thirteen through sixteen.
Well-known names such as Beau Greaves, Fallon Sherrock, Lisa Ashton, Mikuru Suzuki and Noa-Lynn van Leuven will compete for the titles in this event. At the end of the season, the best player of the year gets to compete in the Grand Slam of Darts. In addition, the numbers one and two of the final rankings will be invited to the World Darts Championship.
Among others, Fallon Sherrock and Beau Greaves make their appearance at the Women's Series tournaments
Aug. 16-17: New Zealand Darts Masters
The World Series duel in Down Under concludes in New Zealand on Aug. 16 and 17. After the trip in Australia, it will travel on to the New Zealand city of Hamilton for the fourth edition of the New Zealand Darts Masters.
The field of participants for this tournament largely matches the lineup for the Australian Darts Masters. Among others Luke Littler, Rob Cross, Gerwyn Price, Luke Humphries, Michael Smith, Dimitri van den Bergh, Damon Heta, Simon Whitlock and Haupai Puha will be in action there.
Aug. 16-18: PDC Challenge Tour 16-20
For those players who participated in the Q-School early this year but did not win a PDC Tour Card, four Challenge Tour tournaments are scheduled in Milton Keynes.
It is the fourth tournament weekend of the Challenge Tour this season. The top two players at the end of this season will receive an invitation to the World Darts Championship and a PDC Tour Card for 2025 and 2026.
Aug. 21-22: Players Championship 18-19
Two Players Championship tournaments will be held in Milton Keynes on August 21 and 22. The World Series participants therefore have a few days to deal with their jet lag.

Aug. 23: World Series Finals Qualifier & ET13 Tour Card Holder Qualifiers
The qualifying tournaments for the World Series Finals Qualifier and the thirteenth Euro Tour tournament of the season will take place August 23. The World Series Finals will take place from September 13 to 15 at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam. Earlier this year it was announced that the field of participants for the World Series Finals
has been expanded to 32 players. The best players of the World Series season will be invited to the tournament in Amsterdam, but the remaining Tour Card holders will have a chance to force placement through a qualifying tournament. The
The thirteenth Euro Tour tournament of 2024 will be held in Prague from October 18 to 20. The top-16 of the Pro Tour rankings and the top-16 of the world rankings do not have to participate in this. They are automatically invited to the Czech Darts Open.
Aug. 30 - Sept. 1: German Darts Championship (ET9)
The month will end with the ninth Euro Tour tournament of the season. The twelfth edition of the German Darts Championship will be played in Hildesheim. Defending champion at this tournament is Ricardo Pietreczko, who faced Peter Wright in last year's final.
