Thousand fans per session allowed at PDC World Darts Championship

The fans are back at the PDC World Darts Championship as up to 1000 fans each session are allowed to enter the Alexandra Palace in London. Ticket sales will start later this week.

Tickets for the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship will go on Priority Sale on Thursday December 3 and on General Sale on Friday December 4 (12:00 GMT). However, only fans from certain parts of the United Kingdom are welcome at the World Championship. So there will be no tickets available for fans from countries as Germany and The Netherlands.

Fans from the UK in Tier 1 or Tier 2 areas will be able to book a table of four seats, with a table required to consist of one household or support bubble.

Social distancing measures will be in operation throughout the venue, spectators will be required to arrive at specified times and gain admission through one of two entrances, while food and drink will be served directly to tables and booked via a dedicated App.

Another adjustment is that the sessions will start an hour earlier this year. The afternoon sessions start at 12:00 GMT, while the evening sessions kick off at 18:00 GMT. The World Championship final on Sunday January 3 will start at 19:30 GMT.

The PDC World Darts Championship starts on Tuesday December 15 at 18:00 GMT. The schedule for the first two rounds is expected at the end of this week or early next week.
