From November 11 to 19, the seventeenth edition of the Grand Slam of Darts is on the program. This week, Dartsnews looks back on great and remarkable moments in the history of the prestigious tournament.
Dave Chisnall threw one of the four perfect legs thrown at the Grand Slam of Darts in 2015. 'Chizzy' produced the nine-darter in classic fashion via two 180 scores and a 141 finish.
Thanks in part to the nine darter and an average of 110, Chisnall was able to win from Peter Wright. This allowed the Englishman to advance together with Wright to the knockout stage of the tournament. The multiple major finalist then lost to Michael Smith in the last sixteen.
