From Friday January 31, many of the world's top players will compete at the Masters which takes place in Milton Keynes at Stadium MK.
Ahead of the tournament beginning, we take a look back at some classic moments in Masters history with the attention turning to Michael van Gerwen's route to the title last year.
The number one in the world won the title for the fifth time last year. Mighty Mike started the tournament with 10-5 wins over Jonny Clayton and Mensur Suljovic.
Dave Chisnall was defeated 11-7 in the semi-finals. In the final he faed James Wade, who had defeated Gerwyn Price, Joe Cullen and Peter Wright. Van Gerwen took the title though by winning the final 11-5.

- It is simply not true to say that these 5 players are guaranteed to keep their Tour Cards. At least Karel Sedlacek, Dylan Slavin and Stephen Burton are in danger of losing them, especially if they fail to win their first round match.
