It's time to head to the Big Apple as the US Darts Masters is set to take place in New York once more at the incredible Madison Square Garden between June 1-2, 2024.

The first round of the US Darts Masters kicks off on Saturday 1 June at midnight. In this round, the eight top PDC stars will take on eight North American players. Acting on behalf of the PDC are Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Peter Wright and Luke Littler.
North American representation comes in the form of Matt Campbell, Jules van Dongen, Danny Lauby, Stowe Buntz, Alex Spellman, David Cameron, Jeff Smith and Adam Sevada.
The eight winners of the first round will return to the Hulu Theatre stage at Madison Square Garden a day later. Then the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be played consecutively.
In 2023, the US Darts Masters was won by Michael van Gerwen. The Dutchman defeated Jake Macmillan (6-2), Jim Long (6-2), Rob Cross (7-6) and Jeff Smith (8-0) on his way to the title at this World Series tournament. He has won this tournament twice with Gary Anderson, Nathan Aspinall and Michael Smith also previous winners. It initially took place in Las Vegas before moving to the Big Apple.
Of course it is the return to the United States also after the previous Las Vegas Desert Classic which was a major stop on the PDC Calendar. A darting boom which has also been aided by the CDC who run darts in North America with a lot of their talent continuing to improve and troubling the big names.
Jules van Dongen, Danny Lauby as well as priorly Jeff Smith have all made it onto the tour in recent years and the conveyor belt continues to grow with Buntz coming over to the Grand Slam of Darts to showcase his talents. As well as Alex Spellman continuing to impress and being close to joining the PDC Tour himself. All will get the chance this weekend to strut their stuff against and face the big names.
This weekend, by the way, North American darters will also play another tournament. They are competing for the North American Darts Championship. The winner of the North American Darts Championship gets to compete in the World Darts Championship in December.
PDCTV will show the action live. An annual subscription is needed for that at £49.99 or a monthly/tournament pass. Select bookmakers also show the tournament with a deposit needed. As well as ITV4 who will show delayed coverage at 5pm after the opening day and 11:25am straight after the final on Sunday for those wanting to watch it in the UK. It will be shown on DAZN also in the US as well as other territories as well as Viaplay.
