Dave Chisnall produced a phenomenal display at the 2019 European Championship as he brushed aside Jonny Clayton 10-4 with an average of 109.7.
It was Clayton who got off to a better start as the Welsh ace kicked off with back-to-back 121-checkouts to lead 2-0. Chisnall managed to fight back, displaying some amazing darts and taking out a 142-finish to lead 6-3. Clayton hung on by taking the 10th leg as the match went into the second interval with the scoreline at 6-4.
From there, ‘Chizzy’ stepped his foot on the gas pedal even more as he ran away with the match. The world number eleven took four legs in a row to triumph 10-4 as he hit an incredible eleven 180’s in the process. The Englishman will face Daryl Gurney in the quarter-finals.
