Van den Bergh delighted after concluding first half of Premier League: "There's only positivity to take out of this week"

Dimitri van den Bergh finished the first half of this year's Premier League Darts with a draw against James Wade.

Van den Bergh finished with 7/8 maximum points and sits second with 13 points level with leader, Nathan Aspinall and despite not claiming maximum points against Wade, he is delighted with his efforts.

"I just got the question earlier how do you feel you've got seven points after four days and I said good question because in four days, the max you can win is eight and I'm 7/8. There's only positivity to take out of this week," said Van den Bergh to Unibet.

"I didn't play the greatest on the third day but I did show capabilities and qualities on the other days. I just have no idea what to expect for the next tournament, the next chapter because for me it's a new experience."
