Van der Voort saw off Justin Pipe who has been in good form as of late with a 6-4 win having hit a brilliant 100 checkout to claim the win with two double 20's. He now sets up a second round tie with Simon Whitlock in Vienna which will be hotly anticipated.
Bunse had it a lot more tougher than Van der Voort, he was 5-2 up and seemingly cruising towards the victory but Jermaine Wattimena came back.
He made it 5-5 and had one match dart to claim the win but fluffed his lines allowing the German ace to claim a first European Tour win.
Dietmar Burger also claimed a first win seeing off Norwegian ace Cor Dekker in a 6-3 win. He hit 6/7 on his doubles in thrilling his home crowd in a 6-3 win. Next up for him is Dave Chisnall though as he will look to continue his run in Vienna.
